This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices of ArachnoHealth (“we”) and its associated website www.ArachnoHealth.com and its mobile application ArachnoHealth (collectively referred to as Site) by detailing how ArachnoHealth receives, collects the personally identifiable information, and more importantly, how this information is used and protected to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

In addition, this policy explains the Beneficiary/provider (“User”, “you”, “Customers”, “ARACHNOHEALTH Community”, or “Your”) rights and choices available for the access, management, update, exporting, and, if necessary, retrieving and deleting this information.

This policy does not apply to practices of organizations that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage.

Personal information gathered about you and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy is controlled by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

This Agreement is legally binding between Users and ArachnoHealth web/app platform, produced and managed by ArachnoTechFZ (A Company incorporated and registered in the UAE with trade license number 45000855, and registered office address BIZ00006, Compass Building, AL Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone, Ras AL Khaimah, United Arab Emirates).

By accessing and using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy. We are the sole owners of the information collected through our Site. We won’t sell, or rent any data to anyone. 

BY USING THE SITE OR PROVIDED SERVICES, YOU ACCEPT THE POLICIES AND PRACTICES DESCRIBED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY, AS MAY BE AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME. EACH TIME YOU VISIT THE WEBSITE/APP, YOU AGREE AND EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO OUR COLLECTION, USE, AND DISCLOSURE OF THE PERSONAL DATA THAT YOU PROVIDE AS DESCRIBED IN THE PRIVACY POLICY AND YOU AGREE AND EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO OUR USE OF IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION. ARACHNOHEALTH RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THIS PRIVACY POLICY. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THE WEBSITE/APP WILL CONFIRM YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SITE IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY.

Definitions

ArachnoHealth community/customer/users: for the purpose of this document, Beneficiaries and providers are interchangeably referred to as ARACHNOHEALTH community or customers/users.

Site: reference to the ArachnoHealth website, which can be accessed through www.ArachnoHealth.com or via the ArachnoHealth mobile app.

Non-Personal Information: Refers to the set of data collected through registration or artificial intelligence, which are not personal identifiers for an individual.

Objectionable content: Posts, images, or videos uploaded in the application that contains sensitive or offensive material that can be vulgar or not tolerated by the audience.

Objectionable behavior: Behavior that is offensive. Use of inappropriate replies, judgmental, labeling, or disrespectful. 

Personal Information: Refers to personal details set of data collected from the ARACHNOHEALTH community during the registration to the application or data collected by technology through cookies and other growth hack data collection. This type of information can be used for personal identification.

Beneficiary: the individual who registers in the application as a member of the community who seeks advice from a healthcare provider or is looking for healthcare services around them.

Provider: Licensed organization, or certified professional that is in the medical/healthcare field. In addition to any student/attendant/resident of a medical/health school/college/ university.

Partner: Licensed organization, or certified professional that is in the medical/healthcare field. That had a website built by ArachnoTech and linked with the Arachnohealth web/app platform through the so-called APIs.

Provided Services: refers to the company’s services accessed on the Site where the beneficiaries connect with the providers.

User Generated Content (UGC) moderation: Process put in place by ARACHNOHEALTH to monitor, flag, and attend to any breach performed. Along with actions undertaken for first-time offenders, recurrent offenders, and any objectionable content or behavior occurrence.

Privacy and Confidentiality Statements

ArachnoHealth is committed to maintaining robust privacy and confidentiality for its community, to protect and preserve them from any type of offense, invasion, fraud, or abuse.  This policy aims to clarify the data collection modalities, purpose, protection, and uses, along with an explanation of confidentiality and safekeeping. 

ARACHNOHEALTH is aware and very conscientious about the delicate community and concerns that can be shared on the Site. For this matter, total confidentiality is maintained at all times. Nothing is discussed or shared outside of the Site. ARACHNOHEALTH has added a feature to choose anonymity while discussing personal and health-related matters which is totally controlled by the user. In case the user needs to discuss more their concern, a process is put in place to allow them to get in touch with the providers in private, closed, confidential rooms (platform). 

Data Collection

When the users open the Site, for the purposes of quality assurance and improvement, our servers automatically record the information that your browser sends us:

You provide information to us when you:

  • Participate in the discussion boards or other community features.
  • Provide feedback and rate provided services.
  • Register an account as a beneficiary or a Provider.

As a result of those actions, you might supply us with:

  • The Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system type and version, and language preference, are used to connect your device to the Internet.
  • Login, e-mail address, and password.
  • Your age
  • Personal description and photograph in your profile
  • Images, articles, and videos when you upload to our platform 
  • Location information where you have accessed the Site on a device that is transmitting location data and such data may include country, province, city, and neighborhood. You may deactivate the feature on your device, and thus, block the sharing of such information.
  • The pages/platforms in the application that you visit. Content interaction information, such as content downloads, streams, and playback details, including the duration and number of simultaneous streams and downloads, and network details for streaming and download quality, including information about your internet service provider.
  • Device metrics such as when a device is in use, application usage, connectivity data, and any errors or event failures.
  • The time spent on those pages/platforms
  • Information and keywords you search on these pages
  • The full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstream to, through, and from our Site, including date and time; products and content you viewed or searched for
  • Referring/exit pages and URLs, 
  • Preferences you submit and those that are generated based on the data you submit and the number of clicks
  • Page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, and page interaction information (scrolling, clicks, and mouse use)

Personal information can only be collected upon registration, where the Customers enter their demographics; name, username, password, mobile numbers, email addresses, address, country of residence, areas of interest, gender, marital status, and any other material you are willing to submit such as; videos, images, articles, feedback, etc.

We receive and store ALL data. Employees/Consultants with proper verified credentials and Non-Disclosure Agreements are the ONLY personnel allowed to handle the abovementioned collected data.

Minimum Age Requirements

The Site and the Provided Service are not directed to anyone under the age of 16. The Site does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 16, or allow anyone under the age of 16 to sign up. In the event that we learn that we have gathered personal information from anyone under the age of 16 without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete that information as soon as possible. Privacy of Children

Our community has special considerations, parents can post questions related to their children. The terms for information provided about others are detailed in the following section. 

We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing them never to provide Personal Information through the Site without their permission.

Information about Others

If, through your use of the Site or Provided Services, you provide information about someone else you must ensure that you are authorized to disclose such information to ARACHNOHEALTH and that ARACHNOHEALTH is not required to take any steps to ensure the receipt of this data is in accordance with any applicable law.

If you have provided ARACHNOHEALTH with Personal Information about someone else or someone has provided Personal Information about you and you would not like it to be retained please contact ARACHNOHEALTH to arrange for its deletion.

Use and Processing of Collected Information

Consent Forms

When using the Telemedicine Service, a consent form will be required before the appointment, upon booking. The consent form addresses the right of the care providers to access patient information and medical record (when applicable) and provides liability closes and non-disclosure statements from the care providers.

Disclosure of Information

Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your for marketing or any purposes your Personal Information. 

Uses of your Personal Information is restricted to verified employees/consultants with valid non-disclosure agreements. They are used for/to:

  • Creation and management of your account
  • Communicate with you whenever applicable
  • Facilitate, arrange, and deliver requested appointments and/or products
  • Track appointments and perform any necessary analytics
  • Improve our Site and Provided Services including analysis of your use of the Site for the purposes of improving Customers’ experience, displaying more relevant/targeted advertisements, promotional offers, discounts, and content.
  • Provide support services including responding to inquiries and feedback
  • Data analysis for all types of data collected for quality assurance, quality control, and improvement, and market study that help us in our work and the improvement of the community’s experience.
  • Provide additional communication and information that may be of interest to you about ARACHNOHEALTH and our upgraded services.
  • Administer surveys, events, and promotional activities sponsored by ARACHNOHEALTH and its alliances.
  • Manage the Site including the everyday business needs of the same, such as; administrations, management of pages, fraud prevention, reporting obligations, enforcement of terms of use, policies, procedures, and conditions, undertaking analytics, and any other steps as required under the applicable law.

Beyond the above, we may use the data where necessary to meet or comply with a legal obligation or applicable law, enforcement of governmental request, comply with a court order, subpoena, or similar legal process, investigation of potential violations; fraud, security or technical concerns, or to protect against harm to your rights and safety, and that of all Customers.

In any case, we will be happy to clarify the specific legal basis that applies to the processing, and in particular, whether the provision of Personal Information is a statutory or contractual requirement, or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract.

In the event we undergo a business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, Personal Information may be among the assets transferred. You acknowledge and consent that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy and that any acquirer of our assets may continue to process your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. If our information practices change at any time in the future, we will post the policy changes to the Site so that you may opt out of the new information practices. We suggest that you check the Site periodically if you are concerned about how your information is used.

How We Protect Information

We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Your account is protected by your account password and we urge you to take steps to keep your personal information safe by not disclosing your password and by logging out of your account after each use. We further protect your information from potential security breaches by implementing certain technological security measures including encryption, firewalls, and secure socket layer technology. However, these measures do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by a breach of such firewalls and secure server software. By using our Provided Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks.

Retention of Information

We will retain and use your Personal Information for the period you continue to use our Site and Provided Services and only otherwise as necessary to comply with any contractual obligations with you, our legal, financial, or auditing obligations, to resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

We may use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.

Once the retention period expires, Personal Information shall be deleted. Therefore, the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification, and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after the expiration of the retention period.

Managing & Deletion of Information

You are able to arrange for the deletion of your account at your discretion. To delete your account, you can do so on your account's settings page on the Site or simply by contacting us. Where you request or arrange the deletion of your account we shall arrange for the anonymization of any and all Personal Information you have provided to us which shall not be utilized for any purposes beyond our legal, financial, or auditing obligations, to resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

The Rights of the Users

You may exercise certain rights regarding your Personal Information processed by us.

In particular, you have the right to:

  • Prevent us from contacting you for marketing purposes.  When we send promotional communication to a user, the user can opt out of further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional e-mail. Please note that notwithstanding the promotional preferences you indicate by either unsubscribing or opting out in the location of the opt-out page of the Site, we may continue to send you administrative emails including, for example, periodic updates to our Privacy Policy.
  • Withdraw consent where you have previously given your consent to the processing of your personal information (when applicable).
  • Object to the processing of your Personal information if the processing is carried out on a legal basis other than consent.
  • Learn if Personal information is being stored and/or processed by us, and obtain disclosure regarding certain aspects of the processing.
  • Verify the accuracy of your personal information and ask for it to be updated or corrected.
  • To be forgotten and require the erasure of your personal information from us

Please also keep in mind that there may be situations where we will be unable to honor any request or instruction submitted in accordance with the above rights such as where the Personal information no longer exists or there is an exception that applies (i.e. an ongoing service or legal dispute).

Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before responding to such requests. You must provide sufficient information that allows us to verify that you are the person you are claiming to be or that you are the authorized representative of such a person. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information unless we first verify your identity or authority to make such a request and confirm that the Personal Information relates to you.

Links to other Websites

As part of the Provided Service, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites or applications. However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us through the Site and the Provided Service. Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to the use of a third-party website accessed by selecting a link on our Site or via our Provided Service. To the extent that you access or use the Service through or on another website or application, then the privacy policy of that other website or application will apply to your access or use of that site or application. We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of other websites before proceeding to use them.

We may engage in affiliate marketing and display third-party online advertisements on the Website and Provided Services.

Affiliates may have links present on the Site and Provided Services and third-party companies may help us tailor advertising that we think may be of interest to users and collect and use other data about user activities on the Website. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of any third-party sites.

Data Breach

In the event, we become aware that the security of the Site and Provided Services has been compromised or users' Personal Information has been disclosed to unrelated third parties as a result of external activity, including, but not limited to, security attacks or fraud, we reserve the right to take reasonably appropriate measures, including, but not limited to, investigation and reporting, as well as notification to and cooperation with law enforcement authorities.

In the event of a data breach, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected individuals if we believe that there is a reasonable risk of harm to the user as a result of the breach or if notice is otherwise required by law. When we do, we will send you an email.

Changes and Amendments

We reserve the right to modify this Policy and its terms related to the Site and Provided Services from time to time in our discretion and based on our growth and improvements.  We will notify you of significant changes to our Privacy Policy by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notice on our site. Significant changes will go into effect immediately following such notification. Non-material changes or clarifications will take effect immediately. We encourage you to periodically check the Site and this privacy page for updates.

Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of the revised Policy will constitute your consent to those changes. However, we will not, without your consent, use your personal information in any manner different than what was stated at the time your Personal information was collected.
